Position in Hospital: (doctor, nurse, surgeon, ect ect) Patient.
Sickness: (if they have any) RRMS [Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis] with a high chance of developing into SPMS [Secondary-Progressive Multiple Sclerosis]. In lay men's terms, MS [my father had it, so I'm kind of versed] is a neurological disease that can cause damage to the nerves themselves, and very possibly the spinal column and brain. If untreated, RRMS will definitely lead to SPMS [look it up on Mayo Clinic's website, if need be], and if malpractice occurs, misprescription or reaction to medication could lead to other, more immediately debilitating symptoms.
Diagnoses can take a long time due to the erratic nature of the testing, and the need to test for different kinds of medications, monitoring by the hospital is needed. Length could be six hours, six days, six years, depending on how willing the patient is to stick around for testing and monitoring.

Personality: (How they act, no less then 3 paragraphs)
On the outside, he's a sarcastic little bugger, quite perverted at times, and always the one to jump into an argument if he has a counterpoint of any kind. However, to keep from being too completely abrasive, he's attentive to other people's reactions to himself, and tries his hardest to be very social so that he can guage other people's reactions and act accordingly so that he can worm his way into them as likeable. For this, he doesn't seem as abrasive, at first, but once you get to 'know him,' you'll see that he's got all those wonderful things and more.
However, if you dig a lot deeper than that, and good luck, by the way, you'll see nothing more than someone who's afraid of facing himself and his past. What's been dealt to him in life has left more than a share of scars on his mind and heart, and it shows. Thanks to this, at heart, he's very emotional and quick to react.
Beyond the layers of psychosis, he knows how to have a good time, and he knows how to make people laugh, if he tries hard enough. He has control over a lot of things in his mind, and he tries to be as happy as he can, and he tries to share that - that can be made obvious in whatever point you end up knowing him.

Growing up in southern Michigan, Lance had lived the life every child wanted to, at first - spoiled rotten, shown minimal discipline, and the like. He looked up to his parents, both, though, and derived motivation from both of them, looking to attend Wayne State and become an all-star football player. His mother, a lawyer, and his father, a businessman, were both more than willing to see his dream come true.
Lance met very little resistance as he moved through secondary school. He had everything going for him - a girlfriend of many years, a successful but modest football career, honor-worthy grades, and everything he could have ever wanted. It was expected that he'd get the opportunity to go to Wayne State like he wanted to, when the offers for scholarships started piling in...
However, that's when things went suddenly and horribly wrong. Without warning, his father had a violent and severe heart attack, causing him to die shortly after the failure. Not too much longer after that, his mother had died from the grief she'd suffered in her husband's absence. Lance was devastated, but went on with his schooling, refusing all of his football scholarships to focus on inheriting his father's business, which, without his father to lead it, was failing horribly.
An accounting firm was the wrong place for a person like Lance to be, but he tried valiantly to save his father's company, but he was much too late to save it. Committing to the company and focusing on school studies left no extra time, and in turn, caused him to shut out his girlfriend, who later broke up with him.
With the company finally six feet under, Lance gave up all hope, and even in the midst of his studies, disappeared. No one had even seen or heard from him since that time... until now. He's been living in the New Jersey area with a last name different from his birthright [which is the one included on this application], refusing his past and being a completely different person since then.

~plays the cello, which he has sent in with him to this hospital to keep him occupied while he's being monitored on the grounds
